Inviting Affairs Paperie began in October 2007 when I bought a small wedding invitation business as a creative outlet and a way to support my family as a new mom. What started as a one-woman operation quickly turned into something more. By 2013, I opened a brick-and-mortar store—retail in the front, custom invitations in the back—where customers could shop curated gifts while I worked one-on-one with brides and grooms on their dream paper suites.

In 2018, I made the difficult but necessary decision to close the storefront and shift my focus back to custom work. That same year, I took a leap and exhibited at the National Stationery Show in New York City, hoping to sell our wedding album to fellow stationers. We included a handful of greeting cards, and to my surprise, those cards outshined the album. That was the spark that led to our pivot into a full stationery brand. From greeting cards and mugs, we evolved again—this time into stickers, a category that now defines our brand.

As a single mom to three incredible boys, this business has grown and changed alongside my life. Over the past 18 years, Inviting Affairs Paperie has taken many forms, but creativity has always been at the center. Today, our products are sold in over 900 stores nationwide, and we are more inspired than ever to keep designing fun, thoughtful, and bold new products for the shops that support us. We can't wait to show you what’s next.
